Our afternoon tea experience was made all the better by our waiter, Carlos. My mother and I have enjoyed afternoon tea here on multiple occasions and he is by far the best server we've had. We will definitely be back and hope to be n section in the future.

The experience was really worth it, Carlos our server was extremely friendly and took time to walk us through the details of all course items.

The review is for the French Room Bar (open until midnight). We stayed at the Adolphus Hotel so we went to the bar for a nightcap. Our bartender was amazing. The drinks were sophisticated and delicious. We very much enjoyed the drinks. The banana cake drink was served with a small slice of banana bread. We really loved the banana bread and asked if they sold it. The bartender told us they have a bakery downstairs that provides all the baked goods for the French Room and the cafe and gave us a complimentary slice. Amazing vibes. The atmosphere is intimate and romantic. A 20% tip is included in the bill but I gave extra because the service and drink/food were all amazing. 100% recommend.

Absolute gem of a place! This was my first experience at The French Room and I'm already hoping I can come back soon. The afternoon tea experience is exceptional. Connie, our waitress, said it best: "we've prepared the menu, all you have to do is enjoy", which is exactly what you want when you're treating yourself to a nice meal. The food was delicious and we left satisfied with every dish and portion. The service was personable - Connie knew our names and provided great service. The entire selection was delicious, but y'all, the scones were AMAZING. We could have had a whole platter with their cream and preserves. Elegance and enjoyment all around. I'd love to come back again!

The initial entry was so magical, all the Christmas decor was elegant and eye catching. The servers were very attentive and knowledgeable of all the teas and food. The holiday menu is a little pricey but 100% worth it! The unlimited tea was good and the food was tasty. They offer a vegetarian option as well!

Gorgeous Afternoon Tea! Perfect for the Holidays! Ambiance & Service: Stunning interior with gold crown molding and chandeliers. Loved the live harpist! The service was impeccable--Connie and Carlos were exceptionally attentive and friendly! Food: The set menu includes one tea for the savory course and another for the sweet. Both the Chinese Yellow Tea and English Breakfast were fantastic! As a vegetarian, I received a plant-based savory menu with regular sweet items. Everything was delightful! Favorites: Pumpkin & Smoked Cheddar Muffin, Cinnamon & Currant Scone, and Poached Pear & Honey Tartelette. You'll absolutely leave full and completely satisfied!

There are moments in my life that I remember especially traveling the world as a Flight Attendant. So serving and service are what I always notice. Today we had the pleasure of being served with the utmost care and class by a beautiful Woman; Connie ! This lovely sweet soul took care of us like we were in her own home! She shared the entire Service and all the wonderful details along with great suggestions! We loved everything! I actually had my very first expresso Martini and it was wonderful! The sandwiches were amazing, scones were so delicious. The dessert pastries so delicate and tasty! The ambience is incredible, with music from a harp , long with a decor that takes you back in time ! Decorated for the holidays it was exquisite! We will return and we will be requesting Connie! I can see why she has stayed 39 years she loves her job and it shows!! The only thing we for got to do was get a photo with her! Next time for sure !
